Established by Kerry in 2012, Kerry Vasquez Design was founded to create interiors that envelope and tell the unique story of their inhabitants. The studio focuses on private residences with an understanding of the impact of design on our everyday lives. Kerry's enthusiasm for the creative process and refined eye infuse every project with a distinctive and complete look.
OUR DESIGN
Essential to our design process is our desire for a space to reflect oneself through use of color, pattern, and textiles. We believe that good design involves collaboration and calls for mutual trust in order to encapsulate our client in a personal and beautiful manner. We do not align ourselves with any particular aesthetic or fad, but create spaces that feel lived in and timeless. We are storytellers of your dwelling place, whatever that may look like.
Kerry Vasquez
Founder / Principal Designer
Kerry has worked with creatives from all industries from tech entrepreneurs to international record labels, Hollywood entertainers to venture capitalists. Born in London, raised in California’s Central Coast, and educated in NYC, her varied background brings a duality and balance to her Designs. She loves influences from the city and the country, opulence and understatement, high art and street art, history and modernity, dynamism and serenity. She firmly believes that Design is a collaborative process that requires trust, respect, clarity of vision and a spirit of play and discovery.
Megan Gunko
Junior Designer
Megan received her BFA in Interior Design from Woodbury University. Before joining Kerry Vasquez, she worked with Regan Baker Design in San Francisco. After spending her whole life in Northern California, you can now catch Megan soaking up all the gloomy days Los Angeles has to offer, though there are few. With an appreciation of art and culture, she's aware of the potential of interiors to not just be a shelter from the exterior, but also a reflection of one’s own identity within that shelter that tells a story of oneself. Megan loves assisting clients in finding pieces that inspire them and reflect their own unique personality. She believes that good design is understanding the client, knowing what their needs are, and starting from there.
